What can I see and do at Rendezvous Mountain?
- Ride the Tram:
The Tram offers the easiest access to the top of Rendezvous Mountain. The winter season runs from Thanksgiving through early April, while the summer season runs from June through September. Scenic rides are available during both seasons. - Corbet's Cabin:
At the top of the tram, Corbet's Cabin has sundries, drinks, snacks, and even waffles! - Skiing and Snowboarding:
From Thanksgiving through early April, skiers and snowboarders ride the tram to the top of Rendezvous Peak to access some of he best skiing in the Rockies. - Hiking Trails:
A handful of hiking trails leave from the top of Rendezvous Peak. Hike the easy Top of the World Loop or head into Grand Teton National Park off the west side (Marion Lake makes a nice day hike). - Paragliding:
During the summer months, tandem paragliding rides are available from the top of the tram.
Where is Rendezvous Mountain?
Rendezvous Mountain towers over Teton Village, 12 miles west and north of Jackson. Technically, the Rendezvous Massif spans from Granite Canyon on the north to Phillips Canyon on the south. Rendezvous Peak is one of many peaks on the Massif; other peaks include Cody and Noname. Rendezvous Mountain is most easily accessed via the Jackson Hole Tram, which runs in the winter and summer seasons.
When is it accessible?
Ride the tram to the top during the winter or summer seasons. In the spring and fall, you can hike to the top via mountain access roads.
